I absolutely love this place!!!
The softshell crab entree is to die for. It is a special but seems to be a permanant one thank God! because I crave it!
The other things on the menu are just as good too.
I'd reccommend this restaurant to anyone!

This place is really small. It is close to the train station and easy to find. The waitress was nice and the service was quick. The food is excellent. Everything looked good so we followed the New York Time review printed on the menu. We had the crispy duck in a sweet sauce (honey?) with rice and the noodles with shrimps, scallops and vegetables. I generally don't like vegetables but the ones I had were excellent, cooked perfectly and tasty. The sauce was great. It had kind of a grilled flavor, it was yummy. We finished with some crispy bananas with vanilla ice, honey and nuts: a perfect dessert, light and tasty. We definitely want to go back because it was so good and also not too expensive.

I read the below review and would completely disagree with the comments. I had dinner there last night. The restaurant was a bit busy, but I found the food to be amazing and the service to be the best it could be considering the amount of people coming in to pick up orders and people waiting.

I had the Soft Shell Crab and the Paper Shrimp. Both were perfect. My wife had the beef salad and the Lemongrass Pork. She ordered sticky rice however the waiter forgot to bring hers. Upon asking however she had it immediately with a sincere apology.

This is my 5th visit and I will surly go back many more times.

Rice Spice Noodle is without a doubt our favorite restaurant in the Mystic area. We love the Seafood Panang (spicy) and the Lemongrass Pork. The waitstaff is always friendly and helpful. We have a wonderful time whether we are out for a dinner for two or with our 6 year old daughter who loves the Spring Rolls and the Calamari appetizer. The food has never been a disappointment. It is excellent every time.
