“in search of great chowdah”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 21, 2013

We were heading to Newport in search of the best clam chowdah the region had to offer, and while Latitude's lunch was tasty and completely adequate, their chowder was the heaviest we encountered. If you like your chowder really thick, you'll like it just fine, but if the presence of the clam is important to you, look further.

“This restaurant consistently has impressed me”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 31, 2013 via mobile

We have eaten at latitude 41 five times now and I have always been impressed with the quality of the food and consistently good service. The place is beautiful inside, sitting outside in the tented patio is also nice. The food is fairly expensive but the trade-off for the price seems to be that the restaurant uses good quality products in their dishes and hires quality people for their kitchen and serving staff. We love going here.

“It was okay...”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2013

The restaurant is very nice inside. The servers were professional and pleasant. The food amount was sufficient. I got sick on the food....perhaps the seafood. Haven't returned again. The restaurant is located in a beautiful spot in Mystic, CT with beautiful grounds....wish the food was more plentiful.

First off I would like to say that the food was amazing mouth watering with every bite. I went to latitude 41 on a sunday for brunch and went back for dinner. brunch was really good. The service was fantastic the waiters and waitresses did and outstanding job. Even the manager came over and greeted me and my girlfriend she was a really nice. her name was Kerry she made the experience of latitude very good she told us about mystics history and about the seaport she really knew what she was talking about. After we ate we went to the bar for a couple drinks and the bartender was excellent he didn't over pour or anything the drinks were perfect he really knew how to make a fantastic drink in all an all I would definitely go there again if I'm in mystic again FANTASTIC!!!!
