After a somewhat lenghthy, but expected wait (we didn't mind, the view of the setting sun while waiting on the dock behind the restaurant was stunning), we were seated. The waitress was very friendly, and the appetizers & food were brought out quickly. Everything was fresh, hot & delicious - no complaints at all!! If you don't mind the wait to get a seat, then I would recommend this place. My husband just loved the stuffed pablano appetizer!! The seafood was great too.
My all time favorite restaurant. The food is always made from very fresh ingredients, the menu is wonderful, the views are gorgeous and the prices are reasonable for the quality of food you get. The waitstaff is very attentive and well trained. The only problem is there is often times a long wait, but it's definitely worth it!
Great location and that's about it.
We always visit Mystic at least one time anually. S&P Oyster Co. is always our place for dinner. We never make a rez, as we do not travel by itinerary while motoring. We are always seated with a view of the waterfront. The Fish& Chips w/ clam chowder are my favorites (always very good). On our last visit, Friday, June 20th, a TV celeb stopped in for dinner. He had a shaved head and his show is "Deal or No Deal". Sure livened the place up a bit, but dinner, as usual, was v-good.
Cozy atmosphere, a view of the bridge & tasty food. We love to go for lunch. Get the chowder & enjoy!
