“Welcome Addition!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2013

Every time I go to this place, I like it a little more. Do not let the fact that it is located in a strip-mall type building fool you. The food is absolutely phenomenal. Fresh, healthy, flavorful and well-prepared. I had a filet kebob with a salad that was the most tender meat I've ever had in my life- like butter! I went there with friends recently- 5 apps, 5 dinners and a bottle of wine and the bill was only $150- you certainly can't beat that! The service is a bit... quirky, but usually in an endearing way. I do wish they took reservations though.

“Always delicious”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 19, 2013

The food is outstanding. Favorites are falafel, lala chicken, and kafta kabob. The pita is freshly baked and the hummus has great mild flavor with olive oil drizzled on top just as it should be. The arugula and goat cheese salad with pine nuts and caramelized onions is out of this world!

“One of Our Favorite Local Spots”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 16, 2013

More than just pitas - this restaurant offers a wide array of appetizers, salads, wraps, seafood and entrees. It's fun to order a bunch of the hot and cold appetizers and share! Prices are defintely reasonable, and portions are decent. The food is great and unlike anything else you can find in southeastern CT. The restaurant is tiny, but decorated beautifully. It is difficult for them to accommodate large parties, and they won't seat your group until everyone has arrived. But overall a great food experience and great ambiance and service - definitely worth the trip!

“Lunch was Delicious”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 13, 2013

We decided to have lunch at the Pita Spot -- great decision on our part. As soon as we walked in the staff was friendly. We decided to eat meat pie, falafel pita and home made french fries. Everything was delicious! The flavors were tasty and fresh. The service was also great, the waitress was efficient, friendly and professional. This restaurant is worth a visit if visiting Mystic, good Mediterranean food is hard to find -- but you can find it in Mystic.

“Good for take out”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 5, 2013 via mobile

They have tables outside, which is on the parking lot. Not too many seats inside. Waiters are busy, and look not very experienced. Pastries are great.
