“Excellent Food, Nice Staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 17, 2011

My wife and I ate at Thai One On during Christams Week. We were staying at the Marriott next door, and though we have been to Mystic several times in the past few months we never tried this place. Thai food is generally poorly represented in the states and often times is just very spicy. In Bangkok, the seafood is ultra fresh and flavorful, and heat is up to the patron.

We started with Tom Yum Goong ordered mildly spicy. This confrimed the kitchen knew how to cook to order. Delicious! I ordered a garlicy grouper dish, my wife a steamed shrimp dish, Both were outstanding.

The place is very clean, and though the decor is somewhat sparse, don't let thet fool you. This place is the real deal. They know how to prepare Thai, not often found at least here on the east coast. The owners were very friendly, and made the meal quite pleasant. If you are looking for a good meal, that can be as spicy as you want, this is the place to go.

“Great Thai food and drinks”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 6, 2010

My husband and I heard about this new restaurant and because of the name we just couldn't resist checking it out. Really nice bar, chic, unusual for Thai cuisine - sort of cafe or bistro like. The kitchen is true Thai, and very good. We had some appetizers - something with tigers' tears in the name - and the goong tod. For entrees, we tried a just-caught sea bass with ginger sauce and the duck curry. The food was excellent. The martinis were great, especially the espresso. From what we can figure they have an arrangement with the Monavie people - that health food drink - to mix up the health food drink with vodka, tequila or other additives and do the event once a month, with music. It sort of gives one the idea of what the place is like. Healthy, friendly and enjoyable."

“Spicy makes it better...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 28, 2010

The decor has a relax atmosphere. The service is somewhat slow but the food is as close as it can be to authentic.
If you ask for spicy be ready as the Thai chef “speak no English” we loved the Chicken Soup with the Coconut Milk, the Chicken in green souse was out of this world.
The owners of this establishment even hangs balloons for our party as we told them it is a Birthday party when we made the reservation.
If you past exit 90 on the 95 stop for lunch or dinner and enjoy yourself
