We went with our family of 4 children, ages 8 and under. There is no way we would ever pay $95.00 again here!! For being so small, it's amazing they get away with such prices. We thought our little ones would enjoy all the hands on stuff, etc., but really there wasn't much to touch except the stingray tank and they mostly swam in the bottom of the tank so there wasn't much touching to do. We visited a similar, but much nicer aquarium in San Diego and they designed the tank to be only 2-3' deep, so the children could generally touch them. This tank was so deep, even my tall almost 9 yr. old, couldn't reach them. The anemone tank was only look but don't touch- hard for little ones to see all that arm-reachable open water, but unable to touch it.
The seal tank was small and they just sat there. The penguin exhibit was extremely small, probably 10' by 20' and extremely boring. At the St louis Zoo it's FREE to see an amazing penguin exhibit. It was nice to see a huge Stellar seal , but all he did was lay on a rock.
On the positive side, the Beluga exhibit is nice and the little cave formations around it are cute for the kids to discover, but not much else was very nice or unique. We've been to quite a few aquariums and this was on the bottom of our list. Definately NOT worth the money. I think it would be okay to visit if you didn't spend much money.
