Wings are great - other food OK. Wait can be long when busy. Noise level very high.

I went to Archie Moore's for lunch this past week and was completely disgusted by the behavior of the staff. My companion & I were the only patrons in the dining room and there were several staff members both on & off duty sitting at a corner table. Throughout the course of our meal, we had to hear about the sexual excapades of the waitresses, another waitperson's colonoscopy, the definitions for a number of vulgar & insulting names for sexually promiscuous females and how bad the kitchen smelled. The entire conversation among the group took place at the top of their lungs and was laden with swears. It truly ruined what otherwise would have been a good meal.
This place would be fine for a drunken pit stop late in the evening, but certainly not for an afternoon lunch break. The food is very good for the price, but the atmosphere is horrible and the staff has absolutely no class.

The drinks are expensive, and there are rarely any good drink deals. However, there is happy hour every day--free wings (GREAT) and sometimes free mesquite cheesy fries. Yum!
