“Quiet, clean, friendly staff”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2013

We were here for a week in June for a memorial service and family reunion. Room was comfortable and clean and quiet. Desk staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fine--the usual motel waffles, bagels, yogurt but also eggs and sausage. Breakfast room was a little small for the size of the hotel and very crowded.Good location for visiting Milford. Internet wi-fi worked only intermittently.

Thank you so much for the kind words. The staff and I are delighted that you enjoyed your experience with us. We take great pride in providing our guests with a clean, problem free stay.

I also wanted to take this opportunity to let you know we are upgrading our internet service at the end of this month. With the demand for increased internet speed due to business and social needs, as well as an increase in smartphones users, this is sure to be a welcome enhancement.
We hope to see you here in the future!

The hotel is clean and convenient - has pool, microwaves and refigerators. Provies complimentary coffee in lobby all day too. Very friendly staff. Real step-up from a Holiday Inn! Provides full, complimentary hot breakfast. We checked out at 4:30 a.m. though, so we missed it!

This is is disappointment for a Fairfield Inn. We expected more from this property. Marriot needs to spend some money to upgrade or get rid of this property. It's convenient to the highway, generally clean and well staffed but dated. Not too bad a stay, but not up marriot standards.

Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry your experience with us did not meet your standards. The team and I are extremely focused on providing the best customer experience possible. We recently had our parking lot resurfaced, renovated our pool, and had extensive landscaping work done to the outside of the property.
I am glad you found the hotel to be clean as we pride ourselves on providing clean, comfortable accommodations. We have also recently introduced a new bedding package in our guest rooms. More upgrades and interior renovations are planned in the coming months.
If you are planning a return to the Milford area, I would be more than happy to handle your accommodations. Please feel free to contact me as we would like the opportunity to provide you with a positive and memorable experience.

Best Regards

Over the past 4 years that we had a family member attending Yale we stayed here and at various other Courtyard properties several times. In comparison, this property is fair. We actually really liked it the first 2 times we stayed here but noticed it decline slightly.

This most recent time we came back to the room after being out for the day only to find that the room was serviced, but we were given no hand towels or washcloths. Most recently, the last day we were there we asked the lady doing our room for handtowels and wash clothes, after noticing we got none and she had a unpleasant attitude as she walked away saying she needed to go get some.

Aside from that - they do have a very nice breakfast now that is free. It has nice, brand name items on it and seems pretty fresh!

The property is only 10 miles away from Yale/downtown New Haven and even though there's plenty of bad traffic on I-95 in this area, it's still well-worth the drive to save the $$$!!! There are also other options other than I-95, like a parkway and Rt1.

The beds here are comfy, the water pressure and shower is very nice too. Front desk staff was also friendly and up keep of the property is fair.

I stayed here in route to Massachusetts. The staff was wonderful and very accommodating. The room was immaculate, comfortable, and quiet! The quality was well worth the great rate I found online. The staff recommended a wonderful restaurant in town(the Stonebridge Inn) and gave me a coupon for it! I would definitely stay here again!

We stayed at this hotel due to family bereavement. The management was welcoming and accommodating. I was so thankful for the staff as they understood our situation with our family loss and were able to accommodate us on top floor which tends to be quieter. The beds were comfortable and clean and the extra feather pillows we requested were already in the room waiting for us. Our room rugs had two slight stain; one looked like fruit punch was spilled and the other had a circle stained. It did not bother us; but thought I should mentioned as everything else was excellent! We are light sleepers and it was very quiet both nights of our stay. The AC worked great and was quiet as well. Nice small refrigerator, small microwave and small coffee maker. The breakfast was good, scrambles eggs, sausages, muffins, cereal, yogurt, fruits, oatmeal, etc. The lady who took care of the breakfast area was nice. Breakfast area was clean and ample. Due to our circumstances for our loss we could not beat the price. I would stay here again!

We stayed at this hotel in April. The management was welcoming and helpful. The beds were comfortable and clean and the extra feather pillows we requested were already in the room waiting for us.

We are light sleepers and it was pleasantly quiet both nights of our stay. Climate control in room was working great and was quiet as well. Nice refrigerator and microwave in room as well as a coffee maker.

The breakfast was fine, not a huge selection but some hot foods, fruits, oatmeal, etc. The lady who managed the breakfast area was very pleasant and made us feel welcomed both mornings. Breakfast area was clean and comfortable.

For an inexpensive stay this place can't really be beat. I would stay here again anytime!
