“Casual Chinese - Well Done”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 10, 2013

This restaurant is not on the main street of Middletown, but worth the extra couple of miles to get there. Situated in a converted house, this restaurant has a wide selection of Chinese and American food - at very reasonable prices.

Chicken Won Ton Soup - Ok.
Hot and Sour Soup - Ok, but better with a shot of soy (It could have been spicer and more tangy).
** Pot Stickers - cooked perfectly **
** Green Beans and chicken with brown sauce - yum **
** Combination Chow Mein - very good. Not too greasy **
Lemon Chicken - humungous fried chicken breasts with lemon sauce. Ok.

We definitely will come back.

“Best Chinese Food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 2, 2013

Most chinese places taste the same....as if they are all pre-packaged, frozen, then reheated. Fong's is completely the opposite. Their food is fresh, spicy (if you want it), full of vegetables, and full of meat. Their prices are fantastic and their service is wonderful. Their portions are extremely large.

The place is a hidden secret that will fool you from the outside but don't let that stop you. It is delicious. My favorites are their Kung Pao Chicken and Hunan Chicken.

“Great family run Resturant, local secret!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 16, 2013

Fong's is one of the restaurants that if you didn't know about it you would never think to look for one where it is. Located on a street the locals use as a cut through it bordered industrial parks on one side and residential neighborhoods on the other. It's not a large eat in but has a decent dining room and take out. The exterior recently underwent some renovation and looks nice. It's family run and the food is very good. The matriarch, if you're lucky enough to have her as your waitress is great. She treats you like family and is quick with a joke or funny comment. They do serve beer and wine and they provide every table with a bottomless pot of hot tea which is excellent. They also give you a heaping bowl of crunchy noodles and their delicious duck sauce for dipping.
The food is very good and served hot, fresh and fast. The pu pu platter comes out with a brazier which is lots of fun. One of our favorite appetizers is the crab Rangoon, light and tasty with a great sauce for dipping.

While not the fanciest Resturant to dine at the food is great, staff is fun and the prices are extremely reasonable. We had an appetizer and two entrees with one glass of wine for under thirty dollars with left overs to take home.

“Excellent, Excellent , Excellent”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 7, 2013

This place is the place to go for Cantonese style Chinese.

They cook some excellent foods--specialists with fish and seafood dishes.

Maybe Cantonese style--but definitely NOT Hong Kong with the fried chicken wings and Foo Youngs and things..they do them and they are okay---but its those sauced and vegetable dishes where they shine.

Real nice place to hang out or have a party !

Nice place !!

“Very Good Dining Exerience”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 12, 2013

We arrived at Fong's as part of a large group (25-30). Somehow they managed to serve everyone with hot tasty food with friendly service. The menu was pretty standard Chinese/American fare but very well done. Most entrees come in small and large. The small is quite enough for most people and is very reasonably priced. I had the small hot and sour soup and it was much more than the cup I expected. I would recommend Fong's as a great place to bring your family for a tasty meal that won't break the bank. This is not the place to go if you are looking for great decor however.
