We always rate our holidays on whether or not we would recommend the destination to our friends and most certainly we would. Amenities and situation were as promised but it was the level of service that was outstanding; from Charles who met us at the airport to Phillip and Joseph who looked after us on Paradise Island and Milton who is the hero to our "fishergirls". For instance the girls wanted to have their hair braided and in no time at all it was all laid on. Michele and Reon were perfect as hosts and were engaging and helpful despite the changeable weather, the tides and the winds.
High lights. The 40 min drive along the tide level to the lodge, crab dinner, the BREAD, sun downers in the tidal mangroves, snorkelling to see the coral fish on Paradise Island, watching our kids messing around in boats, the beautifully designed lodge.
Not so cool. If I had to gripe may be the TV/music on all day ( but may be a generational thing) I also felt let down on the care of the wood work - beautifully designed and built and I know the sun does damage but I just felt a little re varnishing would have paid respect to the workmanship.
