“I see the locals in there - the cops and firemen ... good sign”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 10, 2014

I have had to go sandwiches here - and I went there the first time because I saw a fire-engine outside. If the firemen eat there I tend to give it a try! (My brother is a fireman) :)

“Cute deli that also sells local produce and own baked goods”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 3, 2013

My husband and I moved to this area recently and we were glad we tried this deli. It's a little set back from Main St.- looks more like a garden shop from the outside. They do sell local produce etc. but have full selection of sandwiches and lunch items. Great clam chowder and everything was very fresh. They had cookies of all kinds fresh baked out and other bakery items that looked good. Staff was family and they were all very friendly.

“A must stop for lunch”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 7, 2013

Had lunch there - it was so good came back for dinner. Comfort food at it's best. Fried clams were excellent. Light batter, fresh clams, cooked perfectly. Came back for the lobster roll. 1/4 pound of lobster meat, heated with a bit of butter on the grill - then put in a toasted roll. Butter-lobster and nothin else. Cookies were home made, nice and chewey with loads of chocolate chips. Rice pudding also a stand out although a bit small for the price. The pudding was somewhat of an outlyer as the rest of the menu is a relative bargin.

“Used to frequent here more often”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 28, 2013

I used to go to this place a lot more often but the attitudes of everyone there has been declining. The gentleman who runs the register is very sarcastic and condisending most of the time. The prices are not consistent. My friend and I ordered the exact same thing today and got charged different amounts. Even the sign will say one thing he will ring up whatever he feels like. This used to be a great place to get a good sandwich. Now the orders are never right and lacking items requested and/or listed.
