Nice, quiet place to stay. Complimentary breakfast, 24 hour coffee, tea, and newspaper made my stay very comfortable. Staff was willing to answer any questions I had about the area I was visiting and I would stay at this hotel again.

We were traveling on a family vacation when the kids got tired of driving. We started calling hotels that were within 1/2 hour ahead of us on the road and were lucky enough to find the Hampton Inn. From the moment they answered the call, we were in good hands. When we arrived, the kids wanted to see the rooms, they showed us several rooms and despite the fact that we were there, the kids would not give us time to check in, they were hungry! The staff was kind enough to recommend a good restaurant and were patient and waited for us to return from dinner so that we could check in. They did not have adjoining rooms available so, they give us rooms across the hall from each other. The hotel was clean, quiet and comfortable. The rooms were a good size. What made the stay so nice was the friendliness and accommodating nature of the staff. They treated us so well and they genuinely seemed to enjoy interacting with all of the hotel quests. Would definitely stay here again!

Room Tip: We had two rooms, one facing the interstate and one on the opposite side. Both were equally quiet.

My expectations were exceeded, Front desk/ reception was fantastic, the rooms were very comfortable and I slept perfectly.

Breakfast was fresh and the housekeeping staff was very friendly,I really do enjoy the coffee. Having breakfast included and no charge is a great feature.

We stayed at this Hampton Inn this past weekend when we were attending a wedding in Middletown.

It is certainly adequate. Our room was clean and the bed was good. I would say, however, there is little more of interest here. The breakfast offering looked standard fare and the public rooms were tired.

The staff was nice and it is convenient to the highway. It was reasonably priced.

Don't go out of the way if you want anything more than a good nights sleep.

Room Tip: They are all the same. Higher and away from the highway.

We stayed here 2 nights in May. It was a very nice hotel, clean rooms, good breakfast and cookies! We had an issue with our room being on the side next to the main highway. After, some effort, we finally got it straight and they changed us to the other side of the hotel--much quieter!! Thank you Dan!

I stay in hotels 2-3 times a year and I am very picky. I was satisfied overall with this Hampton Inn. The maid service was great, front desk staff was welcoming and friendly, and the self-service full breakfast bar every morning was fantastic. They even have a fresh waffle maker. The hotel also has a little brook running through the property and abuts to Gethsemane cemetery. Don't creep out lol, It is an older, picturesque cemetery and was nice and peaceful for morning and afternoon walks.

The only drawbacks I can mention is that the rooms are on the small side but, neat and tidy. The west side of the hotel faces I-91 North. The windows are double pane but, not very well insulated. If the roar of loud trucks and modified exhaust motorcycles bothers you, stay on the east facing side of the hotel, if possible. There were two of us traveling together and needed separate beds. Noting from previous reviews of this hotel, I tried to stay on the east side of the hotel but, was informed that only the west side of the hotel had double beds, all king beds are on the east side. Something to make a note on. Also, on Main Street you'll find several fast food places and a couple of sit down restaurants but, beware. That area can be a tad sketchy at night. The area where the hotel is however, is safe clean and beautiful. There were also some large groups of teenagers staying at the hotel. I understand that hotels need to keep rooms occupied but, renting to large groups that consist of bunch of loud, rowdy teenagers and their parents is irritating for the normal vacationing guests that stay there.

Overall, I would definitely consider staying at this Hampton Inn again. Thank you for a great stay.

Seems like the quality standards have been slipping at the Hampton Inn hotels. In the past year I have had several significant quality issues at various Hampton locations. At THIS location, the air conditioning was not working in any of the common areas (on all floors). The room air conditioning could was loud and could not keep up.
