I was driving by the area and pulled over to this comfort inn for one night stay. To my surprise this comfort inn is much better than all the luxury hotel I stayed, the staff was friendly and breakfast was good. I recommend you to stay in this hotel if you visit the area

This property is decent, but not great. On weekends it seems to emphasize dancing and loud parties, and this creates considerable noise. Our floor (the second) is half-way up a floor from the desk and required us to carry our luggage there. The microwave did not work. We were upgraded to a suite (I suspect because all the "regular" rooms were taken when we arrived at 10 PM), but it was a very strange suite. The toilet paper holder is located at least 8 feet from the toilet! There are two flat screen tv's. The room was clean, but the ice machines were on upper floors far away. The breakfast was on the lower end of what I have come to expect at Choice Hotel properties. Bottom line: I would not stay here again unless I was desperate.

We stayed here for one night to get ready for a wedding and to sleep over after the wedding.The staff was veryfriendly and the rooms were nice and clean. The beds were very comfortable too. Breakfast was good too.

Nice place for the price. Breakfast is eggs, sausage, waffles, bagels,cereal and juice. Rooms were updated, nice beds, flatscreen TV, nice bathrooms. Getting to first floor is a little tricky, lower than ground floor. The bad, never received microwave even told that room would have it, sheets were not changed daily, events can get loud and last into the early morning. Overall was very decent for the price, better service and it will be the must stay place in Meriden
