“The restaurant that time forgot ... and not in a good way”
Went with family for Mother's Day lunch, had a reservation for 2:00 PM seating. Despite several open tables, we waited for more than a half-hour to be seated, and then were accosted immediately by a waitress demanding to know why we weren't ready to order. Perhaps because we had literally just sat down and had not yet even received a menu. We should have walked out at that moment, because the waitress was one of the most surly and unprofessional harpies I have ever encountered. My brother-in-law remarked that the menu hadn't changed since he went with his prom date in the early-1970s. I had a fried mozzarella appetizer that was literally drowning in runny marinara sauce, and then had an entree of ravioli and grilled vegetables that featured rubbery pasta straight out of the freezer and oily, overcooked zucchini. The preparations were hackneyed, the value poor, and the service was atrocious. Do yourself a favor and drive on by; even a mediocre diner meal will shine in comparison.
