We were here about 12:30 on a Saturday and more than half the tables were empty. We were seated right away and had our orders placed quickly. There were 6 of us, 3 adults and 3 children under 7.
45 minutes later, we still hadn't gotten our appetizer. We tried catching the waitress's eye to get our drinks refilled...no luck. My husband finally walked over and said that we'd like to pay for our drinks and then we were leaving. She frantically told us that our food was coming up. There was no apology.
10 minutes later our appetizer (nachos, so not a hard thing to throw together) were on the table. Cold. The cheese wouldn't pull apart. And they weren't very good.
Less than a minute later, we all had our food which was decent. My eldest wouldn't eat his chicken fingers because he said it was too much batter and greasy but he's pretty picky. My mom said her sausage and spinach soup (yes, it took 50 minutes to get her bowl of soup) was good. None of us had entrees....it was a salad and sandwiches.
So the food is ok. The ambiance is great and the parking is convenient for a downtown location. But we'd never be back. I guess they are lucky we were just visiting and aren't locals who could actually hurt business.
