“It's a cathedral - go and pray in it!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 6, 2014

We were visiting Millport over Easter so went to the Episcopalian Cathedral for Easter Saturday Mass. The congregation were extremely welcoming, friendly and interested in who we were. The Mass was in a stunning setting in a stunning Church with several surprises! Firstly: the choir who came from all over for this special service and were like something from Songs of Praise and secondly: the service was taken by the main man, Bishop of Argyll.
If you really want to experience this beautiful little gem - don't just visit. Say a prayer - I guarantee you will be uplifted!

“Good, but read up about it before you go”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 13, 2014

If there was a good button for these reviews I would have chosen that, as it is worth a look round but there is very little information about when it was built, who by, what for etc. They have signs up about the organ and other bits, but nothing about the actual history of the place. I had a look round then Googled it when I came out. I would have enjoyed it more with more information about it but it's still worth a look as it's only a very short walk from the centre of Millport. If you are interested in its history research before you go so you can appreciate it more when you get there.

“Peaceful, tranquil setting”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 2, 2014

Worth a detour off of the seafront in Millport. A lovely woodland setting for the small cathedral in the British Isles.

“Quaint!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 1, 2014

A fairly modern building, quaint but nothing special. Not particularly visitor friendly. Not worth going out of your way for.

Beautiful place and well worth a look around. If you come when the wild garlic is in flower all your senses are in for a treat
