“clean and convenient”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 days ago NEW

This is the third time I've stayed at this Ramada for local recreational purposes. The rooms are clean and spacious, the location is very convenient both to the highway and local attractions, and the Indian restaurant at the hotel is pretty good. The public areas of the hotel like the lobby and the hallways are a little shabby (for example, the halls smell a bit, but not the rooms). My main complaint is with the pillows which are foam boulders. Okay for watching TV, unbearable for sleeping.

We stayed here because of its close proximity to Mystic Aquarium and were pleasantly surprised. The rooms were very clean and well appointed. The pool was nice and the jacuzzi was so relaxing. We had a personal issue and had to leave early. The staff was so understanding and accommodating. Highly recommend this place.

Continental breakfast was good. Only thing was the majority of it was a variety of carbs. The employees were friendly. The hotel room wasn't filthy but there was a brown wet spot in the shower, the hair dryer started smoking, and there was dirt and dust behind the night stand and in one of the chairs. The hallways smelt of smoke and cat litter. Overall, if it's the right price, you get what you pay for.

Overall, our stay was super fun. The beds are clean and comfortable. The room was large and clean with a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. There is coffee available in the lobby 24/7. The free breakfast was basic but very good. The breakfast attendant kept the area super clean and always stocked. The pool and hot tub was a real treat for my children. They enjoyed it immensely. They also have a sauna. The building is slightly outdated and needs some repairs, but for the price we payed I have no serious complaints. The staff is always friendly. My only tip would be to bring your own pool towels if you are picky about linen quality. We had a great and happy stay.
