We stayed at this Super 8 the first week of November, and this past weekend. First stay was for two nights, this past stay was one night. For going down to the casinos, for under 50 a night we thought we would try it. For a place to crash for the night, it's well worth it. Terrence Wong (the man in charge) is super friendly, a great first impression. The rest of the staff, well they should take notes on how Mr. Wong interacts with the customers, none were really upbeat.
The Pros room 304
Room was very clean and had a fresh smell to it (for a smoking room). Room had a fridge, microwave, and a recliner (newer looking, not top of the line, but comfy enough). Bathroom was really clean. Overall the room was in good shape. Yes the comforter had a burn hole here and there, and could be replaced. All dresser drawers in good shape. AC unit worked good. At the end of the hall of the 3rd floor. King size bed with only two pillows (we brought extras just in case) Housekeeping was good, had everything refreshed the next day. When we got back the first night, there was a group partying in the room across from us that were very loud going down the hall. Once we were in the room with the door shut, we could not hear them at all.
The Cons room 304
The bed has seen better days. We both were sore waking up in the morning. Not the worst thing ever, but that was the only negative issue with the room. Just one of those beds that is past it's life span. No bed bugs like someone else claimed in a review from last year.
Overall great value for the money. We were only there to sleep for the weekend. Breakfast they offer was waffles, bagels, small pastries, raisin brain and juice. Friendly GM, clean room.
Room 312 Pros and Cons
The AC unit and the bed was more comfortable than the one we slept in a few weeks before. Room was clean, but had much more wear and tear. Small hole in the wall, carpet had some funky stain/marking. Bathroom sink leaked. Took a shower at 4pm and the water was warm at best, but the one at 6am was nice and hot. The dresser drawers were pretty poor shape. No recliner or microwave. Bottom of the fridge had a frozen yellowish liquid in it that I did not even want to guess what it was. Compared to room 304, this one was a let down. Still for a quick one night stay, worth the money for sure..seems like this one needs some attention to it like 304 has. Hotel was very quiet during this stay. I would stay there again for sure.
