Oh, how I wish we read these reviews BEFORE we stayed here. Big mistake. Three of us stayed here 2 nights in their 'suite' ... the one someone in another review describes and couldn't check into because there was a flood. Well I guess they dried it up enough to stick people in there because that's where we were. Room 207. Here's the rundown of the disgusting things we encountered during our stay:
* Young girl checking us in - she could barely be bothered to look up to welcome us. Then as she checked us in she was watching a TV show on the TV just over our heads. She laughed and stared at the screen for a few seconds and then slowly went back to the check in process. She was NOT friendly at all, barely said a word t us. Rude actually. Sorry to be a guest at your hotel checking in during your show... Horrible service.
* The room (#207 - suite w/ 1 queen bed and 2 doubles) was the dingiest thing we'd ever seen. Sparsely decorated and dirty everything.
* We immediately took the comforters off. They'd clearly never been cleaned.
* Stains on the blankets
* Water stains on the box spring. Gross!
* Quickly noticed dried boogers on the wall above one of the beds. Yes, boogers!
* Ink on the walls as well.
* Tape and a piece of leftover purple streamer on a light fixture - someone had a party there.
* Lamp shades that were dirty and cracked (see photos). I can't even believe this is a nationally known hotel chain.
* Stains in the bathtub - and a HAIR left in there. Not exactly a thorough cleaning job.
* Dust and dirt throughout the bathroom - we cleaned w/ Clorox wipes before we'd use anything.
* Dust and little bits of god knows what all along the perimeter. God forbid they use a handheld vacuum accessory to really clean the place. The chairs were even dusty.
* The microwave was falling apart
* The coffee maker had the previous guests' used coffee filter still left in it.
* The hotel smelled. The hallway in the lobby (like Indian food), the elevator (like smoke) and the hallway on the 2nd floor like stinky food as well – the owners must live there.
* There were always a couple of men (or at least one) standing in the lobby for no apparent reason. Not sure if they were part of the management or what but it was creepy.
I'm sure there's more I'm forgetting but this place was just so gross. We tried to get out of there but everywhere else we called was sold out. So we spent as little time there as humanly possible and showered w/ our flip flops on (we bought our own towels and sheets at Wal-Mart across the street).
Do NOT, I repeat, DO NOT stay here if it's the last place on earth. Sleep in a tent!
