I have stayed at the Delamar twice; thanks to its great location close to where I do business in Greenwich, I will stay there again. The hotel is right on the Harbor. If you are lucky to get a harbor-view room, your stay will be 2X better than if you get a room with a view to the rather uninspiring street on the other side.
The lobby area is great; gives it a "small hotel feel" but with impeccably appointed furniture it feels elegant and warm.
The rooms are small but again, well appointed. Remember - try for a view of the harbor.
The restaurant at the hotel (L'Escale) is excellent, and the bar area is fun.
The best part of the hotel is its staff. They are obviously well-trained, helpful and happy.
It's understated yet efficient and professional. Works for me, and I hope to stay here again.

My husband and I stayed at the hotel for our 15th wedding anniversary. We enjoyed this hotel very much. It was close to our home on Long Island and the service and ambiance was top notch. We enjoyed the complimentary wine and cheese hour before dinner as well as the continental breakfast the next morning. The room was very clean but because our view was of the town where the parking lot was right beneath us, it was very noisy with people laughing and hanging out for short periods of time. Next time we would request a room overlooking the water.

This was the 2nd time I went to Delamar. Has a romantic feel to the place. I highly recommend it for couples. The french restaurant next door is great, I had it delivered for room service. I came for my anniversary this past weekend and the Hotel provided a nice anniversary note with complementary champagne and chocolates. Comfortable beds, and nice spacious bathroom. We had a great time and we will keep on going. I love this place.

We stayed there with our young children while in town for a wedding. The staff was accommodating and the facilities were excellent. The hotel is situated within walking distance of the Greenwich town center, which made strolls into town nice. You could also walk the opposite direction and enjoy views of the water. I would recommend for business and pleasure travel.
