I read all the comments about the Griswold Inn and their food and made sure that we had dinner reservations when my wife and I stayed at the Inn. Both of us thought the food was very good but certainly not great (about 7 on a 10 scale). The atmosphere was very good so this might be why so many people give the restaurant excellent ratings. We enjoyed our meal but would not go back given the chance.
