Stayed here for one night. I wasn't very impressed, the hotel is old and has some funny smells. The indoor pool is just OK, not that nice. The breakfast in the morning was just fair, the coffee came out of a machine. For almost the same price, the Hampton Inn is much nicer, brand new and much better breakfast. This would not be my first choice in Danbury.

The room wasn't very clean. The shampoo in the bathroom was unsealed and 1/2 used. The second night they cleaned the room but didn't empty the bathroom barrel. The breakfast attendant wasn't very pleasent. She was handleing the food without gloves and without washing her hands after cleaning the tables.

My wife and I found ourselves in Danbury for a couple days. This Quality Inn is a little old but nice. They had to upgrade us to a "suite" because of availability; a "suite" means third (top) floor with a really large room and vaulted ceilings. Internet worked wonderfully and we had no problems.
Only negative was that they tried to charge us an "in-room safe fee" for each day we were there; they removed the fee when we asked, so just be vigilant about your bill.
