We had plans to be in Danbury so I was looking on the internet for restaurants, never imagining there would be a Hungarian one. Well we all agreed we should try it and were not disappointed. I'm glad I knew it was unusual, being in a house in a residential neighborhood would have made me question going in otherwise. The food was amazing, the chicken just fell off the bone from a poke with the fork. Though the preparations were not what I grew up with, everything was delicious. The service was very slow which I think is because everything is cooked to order. The soups were amazing, could not decide whose was best, so many types of mushrooms in the mushroom soup, mmmmmmm....................... We were already full by the time the dinners came. Sadly we were too full for dessert. The prices are ridiculously reasonable, soups about $3, dinners mostly around $11. Since we were warned the salad bar was limited we were allowed to substitute cucumber salad. The only caution, for beverages stick to canned drinks or bottles, the iced tea was decidedly weird, gross actually. Definitely not a deal breaker though. This dinner makes me want to plan another trip to Danbury!
