Excellent choice for a first time stay with this chain of hotels. We found Stacey and Nina cordial and friendly and very helpful and will be the cause for us to stay at other LaQuinta's when on the road in the future. As for the actual hotel it was well kept, clean and fresh smelling. Breakfast was a standard continental with the most difficult hard boiled eggs to peel.One suggestion would be also is to designate the handicapped spaces with BLUE lines which are often not considered by many throughout the country. Should we need to return to the Danbury area we will be here for our stay

We stay at La Quinta in Danbury at least twice a year. Great hotel and great service and an Outback Resturant for dinner.....how can you go wrong....strongly recommend. Extremely clean rooms at a great price and a very friendly staff after a long day of driving. Tell a friend about this hotel and I'm sure they will thank you after one stay.

My Company recently needed to stay in Danbury several nights, (4), while working in the area. We stayed in 3 rooms with 2 Double Beds. The rooms were clean and staff cleaned the bathrooms every day. The free, (Continental) breakfast was just right for the "Crew". We all loved the Waffle Maker! Ouback Steak House is conveniently located adjacent to the hotel. All in all, I must say that La Quinta did a good job and we were pleasantly surprised. There seem to be a lot of choices of similar priced hotels in the area, but I wouldn't look any further, La Quinta was great!

This has to be one of the oddest layouts for parking I've ever seen for a hotel and I know it has to do with competing with patrons of the attached restaurant. Seems to me that the designer/architect/engineer could have done a better job, even if the restaurant was an after thought. I would think that hotel patrons should come first. Also, I found my room not to be as clean as I would have liked. The desk chair was stained and appeared to be quite unclean. The plastic window area in the shower curtain was also stained with what appeared to be rust or possibly bleeding of the print on the curtain...again, gives the appearance of not being clean. Also, the carpet in the elevator at the front of the building was kind of nasty looking. Those are the bad things. The good things - bed is comfortable enough, layout of the room is good (I liked the little pull out desk) although the room I got didn't look like the picture of the room I requested, climate control was good once I figured out an ideal temperature and by having the "constant fan" on it drowns out the noise from the highway out front, very little internal noise (from hallway, adjoining rooms and elevator) the two nights I was there. I would likely stay again as a good night's sleep is as important as anything.

We stayed here early March 2014. This is a lovely hotel that smells fresh and slightly citrusy every time you enter, whether coming in the front lobby or one of the side doors. We stayed for three nights, Saturday through Monday night. The bed was comfortable and I loved the desk layout (sadly I work even when on vacation) - it was compact but with plenty of space to work. It was quiet at night despite having a sports team staying there as well.

We went to the adjoining Outback Sunday night about 7:30. We called before heading down and there was no wait. So it's all in the planning.

The only thing I will say is most hotels we stay at have a hot option and a protein option (sausage, eggs, etc). There was cereal, oatmeal, a waffle station, doughnuts, bagels, muffins, and cold hardboiled eggs with salsa. And coffee, tea, and juice, of course. It would have been nice to have something less carby that wasn't cold.

All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Danbury.

Excellent rooms with awesome beds. One of the better breakfast layouts I've experienced. The fitness center was exceptional for a hotel. All of the staff were pleasant and helpful. I travel nationwide for a living and when I'm in the area again I will definitely stay here.

We chose to stay in this hotel because it ranked #1 in Danbury, CT. But not impressed at all with the room. The room is only average, very noisy AC, cannot fall in sleep the first half of the night. Nothing else to complain though.
