On business trips I like having a suite because of the separated bedroom living room arrangement. These rooms are quite basic. The living room has a separate bar sink and small refrigerator but the bathroom sink is just around the corner so it doesn't really make sense to have two sinks. The bedroom / living room are almost the same room; no door or hallway to hide the bedroom (not a problem but its kind of a faux suite. The room was very clean and no bedbugs. The exercise equipment was nearly new and in good shape. I decided against using the pool; the water was clear but I wasn't sure it was filtering properly.
Breakfast wasn't a deal breaker but piles of raw steamed bacon or sausage are simply unappealing. The eggs are perfectly circular which tells me they are pre-made patties stacked in a can. The oatmeal was of the consistency that typically turns children away from healthy food. The coffee lacked aroma and taste. I basically stuck with the fresh juices, fresh fruit, cereal, yogurt (highly processed) and make-your-own waffles. Its hard to complain when its free so I am thankful for some choices.
I would definitely stay here again, its clean, its quiet, its in a good location.

Prices are good value. Rooms are mini suites - good design that uses the space efficiently. Moste suites type hotels lack king beds, but this hotel HAS king beds, no extra charge. Liked having small fridge. Bathroom is in 2 parts - bath sink/mirror separate from toilet/bath which has its own door, so 2 people can easily use it at same time. Fridge/microwave/kitchen sink area is separate near hallway. Lighting is good. Our room was clean. Bed was comfortable. AC worked well. On memorial day weekend, lots of parents with their kids (various sports teams), but kids were not too wild, and hotel was very quiet from 11 PM - 8 AM. Location is perfect - quiet, on hill w/ trees, but close to expressway and lots of restaurants & stores, mall 2 miles away. Am told view on East side is nice (we were on West, OK). People seemed to like the pool. Breakfast was a mad-house at 8:30 AM (overwhelmed by crush of families, servers fell behind), but they caught up, and food quality was acceptable. Front desk was friendly. Not enough luggage carts by front door during check-out at noon, oh well, 1 extra round trip. Small store area by front desk was well stocked. All in all, we enjoyed our stay, feel it is a very good value, and would gladly return.

This is a very nice SpringHill Suites hotel, very convenient to the highway in Danbury. We reserved a room with a special family night rate which, for a little more money than just a regular room, we got a free in-room movie (which are usually exorbitantly expensive!) and a large pizza delivered to our room. Staff were friendly, the room was in very nice condition, it was quiet and we slept well. The free breakfast was fine, typical of these free breakfasts you can get at some Marriott and Hampton Inn properties. No complaints, we would definitely stay here again! The room had a microwave and small fridge, which definitely came in handy.

I had to travel to the area and used TA to help decide where I would stay... thx to the reviews here... there were no surprises...

Room was comfortable... separate sitting and sleeping areas... room included a sink, a microwave and a fridge... it was quite at night and the bed was comfortable...

Every evening they had a small assortment of complementary nibblies in a room just off the lobby... in the morning, the same room served as the place for a complementary b'fast buffet... cereals, breads, fruit, waffle maker, coffee/juices, etc...

All in all, I found it to be fine.

We stayed here for 2 nights. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Overall the hotel was very clean. Our room was a nice size and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. A couple of paper plates and 2 packs of disposable utensils were provided along with a dishtowel and the usual coffee service. Ironing board & Iron were in the closet. Shampoo & conditioner bottles were small & there was no lotion but towels were plentiful and the room was very clean. The Ethernet cable was in a bag on a hanger in the closet not in the desk where we expected it. The hairdryer had a red nightlight attached which provided a nice glow without being bothersome and it can be unplugged if you prefer.
Breakfast was very good but the room was too small for the number of guests and we had to wait around for a table (as did many others) There were cold cereals, bagels, bread, muffins, waffles to cook, sausage, cold hard boiled eggs, hot oatmeal with raisins & brown sugar on the side and a fruit (one day bananas another apples) Needless to say, no-one left hungry.
There was a small store area for emergency items and snacks.
We enjoyed our stay here and would stay again if in this area.
