“Diner Food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 30, 2013

This restaurant serves typical, average diner food. There is nothing special about it. You can get breakfast and that' s probably the best you'll get all day. The rest of the menu is of the "greasy spoon" variety and very average. The prices are average to a bit high for what young get. There is absolutely no atmosphere.

“Paul please come back!!!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed November 3, 2013

This has been my to place for breakfast for years and it was great. Since new ownership I have only been there twice and both times were a disappointment. The orders were messed up both times, food was cold when served and service has gone down hill. As far as ever going here again.....no way! Too bad because I now drive out of town for breakfast. Wish Paul would come back!!!

“Passable”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2013

If you like burnt cold toast and soso service, oh I forgot the homefries that are cooked like french fries, it's the place to go. It used to be the Hot Spot for breakfast in Cheshire, but something has changed under the new ownership. I was very disheartened when my husband and I went there last weekend. The waitress came over 3/4's of the way through the meal and asked how it was. I said it was passable and she said I am glad. Hmmmm, when I waitressed passable was unacceptable. I think I will stick to Bagelicious or Dads in Wallingford.

Have been there for breakfast. A little pricey, but the staff is friendly and the food is very good.
