The great reviews are accurate. This is a great steak restaurant on a par with Ruth Chris or Morton's.

In addition to a Cheers like Bar atmosphere the restaurant offers a full menu of aged beef with good side dishes and dinner options for non steak eaters...

I think there are a few of them around.

The best attribute is the super friendly service. Enjoy!

I am not a big meat-eater but the delectable quality of steak and meat at this restaurant are undeniable. For a celebratory meal (bring money) this would be hard to beat. Make sure to have the bacon appetizer (I didn't know bacon could taste like this...it will ruin you for any other kind hereafter) and the creamed spinach side dish. I think any of their steaks would be great but the rib-eye I had was mouth-wateringly delicious. Expensive but worth it.

I visited Joseph's because I had been here before (4 - 5 years ago), I wanted steak, and I was alone for the evening.

I walked in at 7:30 on a Sunday night, and was met by Kevin and Joseph (not the owner) but he works so hard, you would think he might be.

The wine list is tremendous (and not too overpriced); the side dishes are ample, and they serve Caesar salads with REAL anchovies. But the reason that you are here is the steaks.

They are tasty, well-presented, juicy, and prepared as you like them. You ask for a Porterhouse for 1, rare, and it is EXACTLY as ordered.

This is a find. Service is attentive, without being obsequious. I will come back again … and often.

The bacon steak appetizer was good-- I have never seen that before. The mashed potatoes were really good too and the service was outstanding...
