This place is unique and has become our favorite lunch stop when we travel between New England and New Jersey. The restaurant is tucked away in a residential neighborhood near the waterfront. It is about five minutes from I-95, a bit further from the Merritt Parkway. The menu is limited (all vegetarian) but everything we have had has been good. All self serve, with orders placed at a counter, and food picked up there. The dining room is homey: wood chairs and tables, many old pictures on the wall (complete opposite of an I-95 rest area). While waiting for your food, you can browse in the book store and pet the cat. It is not a place to hurry: I would allow at least 45 minutes.
