My wife and I had a late lunch in this restaurant and although the clam chowder was delicious the entrees were nothing special. The crab cake was distinctly un-crab tasting nor did the lobster pot pie taste of lobster. I think there was crab and lobster in them, but a distinct seafood taste was missing. It seems to me the mark of a great seafood restaurant is not the fried scallops and shrimp but the baked food. The service was fine and the place seemed clean but (for the price and in light of other reviews) we expected more. I suppose a Coca cola lover like me should not mind if some restaurants (like this one) only carry Pepsi products. I suppose the honey-basted round bread loaf which was served uncut should have seemed homemade rather than be a source of complaint for having to cut our own bread. But, all in all, there was just nothing special about the meal to recommend. We will try the place another time. Maybe we just picked the wrong items. The menu was huge.
