The Best Western in Bethel, Ct. is an excellent value with great amenities. When I first called to make our reservation, I spoke to Sam, an extremely pleasant and helpful young man who honored the special rate that I had found on the internet. My husband is handicapped and the room they gave us was perfect for us--quiet hall, spacious bathroom and comfortable king-sized bed. Since his medications need refrigeration, and we wanted to do a little heating up of left-over food, they gave us a fridge and microwave for only $15 extra for the whole 5-night stay. The property is clean and fresh and everyone was very kind and helpful. The breakfast is advertised as Continental, but they serve hard-boiled eggs, yogurt and loads of breads, cereals, and danishes. The motel is right off I-84 and convenient to many restaurants and lots of shopping. But the best thing for me was the free membership to the exercise club next door which I used every day.
