Friday night and this casual sports bar type restaurant was hopping. I didn't know what to expect at this upstairs location in a small town in northeastern Colorado. The menu had a good variety of dishes, including several vegetarian entrees. I opted for duck and was blown away. It was juicy, flavorful, not at all greasy, and was very tender (perfectly cooked). It was the best duck I had ever had and one of the best entrees I had eaten in a long time. It was accompanied by an excellent pasta, with a fresh made tomato sauce with vegetables and mushrooms, and a simple but very fresh green salad. And I could watch Steve Nash and the Suns on the TV while eating this superb meal. Although I was fairly full with this meal and the free refills of lemonade, I was really curious what this excellent cook could do with dessert so I shared a caramel layer cake with my two companions. It was creative and really good also. And the price was very reasonable. Wow!
