When I called for a reservation at one of the new mountain suites the seemingly elderly gentleman on the phone could not have been nicer. His warmth and friendliness is part of the reason that we chose to stay there. We never met or saw him while we were there. The suite was nice but it was hot while we were there and the A/C was put on lock so we couldn't use it. Several times while we were outside there was a man there who was either management or owner, we don't know which. Even when spoken to, smiled at or waved to he was completely unresponsive. Looking to be in his 50's or so he reminded me of the guy on "King of Queens" who plays O'Boyle, Doug's boss at IPS. The kind of guy who is stuck in his youth of wearing gold chains and an open necked shirt straight out of the 70's and stuck on himself. We couldn't determine why he would think so highly of himself, but he obviously does. Anyhow, like I said, aside from no A/C, the suite was very nice. However, we would never stay there again simply because of the treatment we received.

This resort is half RV park and the other half cabins. There are eight cabins I believe. Each is a one bedroom with a couch/bed in the living room. They are well kept and comfortable. No cooking facilities other than a microwave and small frig.

Nice breakfast at the lodge included. We enjoyed our six day stay and would definitely stay there again.
