I too had driven past this place dozens of times and mistook it for a local bar. Yes, they have a bar, but this is not a dive. The interior is very tastefully appointed. On a cold winter's night you'll be welcomed by their blazing pellet stove. It's a small, intimate place. Very cute and cozy. The menu is actually quite large, considering the size of the place. The kitchen is open for all to see. I thought the meals were terrific, if a bit pricey (I had never paid $19.00 for meatloaf....up to $42. for the elk). But the food was very good. Everyone enjoyed their meal and the service was very attentive and pleasant. Since it's a small place, it's not very loud, so a good place to go to talk. They also seem to be able to accommodate larger tables (8 - 12 persons). Such a pleasant surprise.
