Condos were pretty nice. The One-Bedroom is pretty big, and enough room for 4. Has a full kitchen which is nice. Make sure you ask for a 1st floor condo - we were on the 3rd floor and it was tough going up and down again and again. The club house has a nice pool and several hot tubs. Don't buy your lift tickets at the Condos - instead buy a "Winter Park Copper Card" in a Denver King Soopers before heading into Winter Park. This gives you big discounts off lift tickets, rentals, etc. at the Winter Park Slopes. You can also order a Denver Entertainment Book from ---------------- which has Lift Ticket Coupons and all kinds of other coupons in it ($40 adult lift tickets and Free Child Lift Tickets). The Shuttle Bus is pretty crowded, but convenient to the slopes if you don't mind walking a few hundred yards to the slopes from the bus drop - tough if you have smaller kids! If I had to do it again, I would definitely stay at the Zephyr which is right on the slope, and I wouldn't have to worry about anything! Overall though, the BV Condos are pretty good.

My family of 4 spent our Thanksgiving holiday at Beaver Village Condos.
The two bedroom, two bath we stayed in was perfect for us. We stayed in Building 20 - which I loved! Fantastic view from the 2nd floor balcony!
- the only drawback was the railroad tht ran behind the condo. If trains running during the night bother you this isn't the building you want to be in! There are several buildings at Beaver Village that are located a little further down the mountain that would be better. But if trains don't bother you, the top of the mountain is where you want to be! Building 20 was on the edge of the woods, a perfect place to snow shoe or cross country ski. (Now remember - I'm from Alabama, but we did see people doing both of these things!) We also got some awesome pictures with the Winter Park ski slopes in the back ground! The condos have a club house with heated pool and three hot tubs. There are changing rooms located in the club house and they provide you with towels and a lock for your locker. The pool and hot tubs were popular - so don't expect too much privacy there. The condos are on the shuttle route that will take you anywhere in Winter Park and Fraser. (We chose to drive our car everywhere but to the ski slopes.) The shuttle was great for the slopes - dropped you off fairly close to where you needed to be; which is very nice when you are carrying skis, poles, and boots.
Beaver Village gives you a discount card when you check in which includes a % off ski rentals at Christy's. Not a bad deal - but I think you would do better to rent from Winter Park Resort if you rent in advance. Either way - rent a locker at the resort to store your equipement. The staff at Beaver Village Condos were great! Always helpful and friendly. Excellent Service!

If you're skiing for the first time splurge and take the private lessons! Worth every cent!! Ask for Jim Shaw - he was super!!

Be sure to go to the tubing hill in Fraser. Family Favorite!!

Go to Carver's for breakfast at least once while you're there!

Advice for travelers from the South: Our biggest mistake was coming in and turning the heat up! Thermostats were set at 50 (which we thought was cold!), leave them at 50! It will be plenty warm. We bought a Humidifier from the grocery store which really helped me, especially at night. Before you buy one - ask at the desk if they have one you can use - - we left the one we bought! =) If you start getting a headache, drink water! It really helps.
