Worked out great for two ski bums,small kitchen for breakfast and some dinners,large enough for ski gear,beds/sheets comfortable,view of mtns and pool ,close parking and a very friendly staff.
Cabriolet across parking lot to ski area,(you have to walk across the village to get to main lift to mtn--but they do have wagons if needed)--can ski-in close to cab when leaving mtn after skiing.
Might be a little dated but overall very nice, a nice surprize and turned out great for a great mountain --slopes and trees were skiing at it's best.

As other reviewers have stated, the Vintage Hotel is dated. My son's first comment was "it reminds me of Grandma's House" .. which was also built in 1986. With that caveat, the rooms are spacious. The hotel is close to the lifts. Some have lofts and kitchenettes. The beds are comfortable and the staff is friendly and efficient. Our room had an actual wood burning fireplace (not the sealed gas units like newer hotels), and the staff even came to the room to light it for us !

What a great hotel! Not a five star for some folks (they have updated the beds / sheets but that's about it) but for us and our 2 dogs it was fabulous! Our pet friendly studio was across the hall from the stairway and close to the back door of the building - perfect for he pups! There are numerous places to walk the pups day or night. Our room had a wood burning fireplace that was ever so lovely. A short walk to the cabriolet and a quick ride to Winter Park Village makes entertainment / skiing super easy. We also took advantage of the tubing hill next to the hotel. A fabulous time for all ages - if you go, definitely check it out!!! The staff was super friendly, they love pets, the new bed/sheets were great. They have a locker room, lounge, great hot tub / pool. The fridge in our kitchenette was a little noisy but didn't bother us at all.

I love the free parking and most of all the easy access to the village using the cabriolet. The staff in the hotel are all friendly and very helpful. The hotel location allows very easy access to the town of Winter Park. They just replaced all the beds and bedding and it is so nice!
