“Can't beat the location!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 8, 2014 via mobile

We had a nice one bedroom condo on the fifth floor of Founders Pointe and would definitely stay here again. I say this even with the fire evacuation at midnight due to a burst pipe in Frasier Crossing! The walls are a little thin so you can hear people in the hallways and upstairs from you. Thankfully, skiing tires people out and they typically go to sleep early.

The kitchenette is very functional and the bathroom is very spacious. Shower water pressure is lackluster but not awful. Hot tub on the third floor is terrific. Condo location is terrific- easy walking distance to the lifts! restaurants and bars. Ski lockers on the first floor are incredibly convenient.

We would definitely stay here again.

Our stay at Fraser Crossing 3309 was excellent.

Pros:
1. Great location. Right across the street from Winter Park Village. Quick walk to the lifts.
2. Third floor location had great access to hot tub. (Daily visits were mandatory)
3. Full kitchen was perfect for preparing meals and avoiding the high higher priced restaurants. (Use the community grills on the patio by hot tub!)
4. Convenient first floor lockers for all your ski stuff.
5. TV in living and bed rooms.

Cons:
1. Room was almost always too warm. I daily opened outside doors to cool the room. Couldn't really use the fireplace.
2. Front desk clerk was not knowledgable about ski lesson check-in. Even though the lessons are not through the hotel, one would expect that the desk clerk would know a few basics.
3. Wish there were a door between bedroom and bathroom. (Visits in the middle of the night disturbed those in the living room.) This, obviously, is just wishing. :-)

Overall, we were very happy with the accommodations! We would stay here again - maybe wish it were slightly less expensive.

I recently stayed at this hotel and would highly recommend to anyone! The room was beautiful and had an electric fire place that gave off a lot of heat. The bathroom was huge with a large tub. We had a king bed and sleeper couch and a mini kitchen area with burners, fridge, dishwasher, and utensils. It is very close to the little village with numerous restaurants and a Starbucks. We also took the little gondola up to go tubing all within walking distance.

The rooms were very nice: clean with a lot of space, heated under ground parking wasn't needed but will be nice during the ski season

Huge very relaxing out door hot-tub.

We stayed in mid October and the place was almost empty; must be off season

Seems to be more dog friendly than people friendly. We heard dogs barking from nearby rooms all night and our room smelled of 'wet dog'. So, it's nice if you don't want to sleep at night. It was a real disappointment for us.

Room Tip: Ask if they have a dog free section.

We stayed here while in Winter Park for a wedding. It was September, a shoulder season, but the property was still very functional, with the flowers gorgeous and the facilities well maintained, The giant hot tub was very relaxing. Many restaurants are a mile or so up the road in the town proper, but several good little places, plus some shopping, are just across the street.
