We (3 of us) walked in on a Sunday to have brunch; first impression of the restaurant was very positive; greeter was welcoming, decor was nice. From then on it was downhill. Our waiter took our order, but when we were served, an order of biscuits was missing and my husband was missing an egg. We had ordered the biscuits as an "appetizer," so it made it even worse that they came several minutes after we received our entrees. One person ordered the burrito and he said it was great; my husband and I ordered the All American Breakfast (eggs, potatoes, toast, meat) -- it was so-so and cost $11/each. We've had that meal at any number of places here (Le Peep, The Egg Shell, Village Inn, etc.) where it cost significantly less and tasted so much better. Maybe one should only order the southwestern specialties here. However, the negatives weren't over yet -- when we got the bill it didn't reflect what we ordered, so we called the waiter back, he looked at it and said,"Oh, gosh, that is a bill from yesterday, I don't know what is going on." Yeah, well, I don't know what is going on either, but somebody in that place better get it figured out! We didn't ask for any consideration due to the screw-ups on our order, etc., but were a bit surprised that this place didn't offer to make things right -- certainly many restaurants have done this in the past. And, when a place has done so, we feel they did the right thing and we would give them another opportunity; not the case here, we won't be going back.
