The SpringHill Suites in Westminster is a great place for both business travelers and families alike. This year, my brother, sister and I treated our mom to a trip to Denver and Estes Park for Mother's Day. After our Friday evening flight into DIA we spent the night at the SpringHill Suites before heading to Estes Park (1.5 hour drive) on Saturday. This hotel's location is a perfect stopping point between downtown Denver and Boulder, Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park.
Our room featured two double beds with a full-size sleeper sofa and a work desk. The room also had a microwave, mini fridge and, with our westward facing room, we also had an awesome view of the nearby mountains. With four of us in our party it was nice to have a room where we could all spread out and have our own space for a change.
The hotel staff was extremely cordial and genuinely happy to have us as guests. Upon arriving at the hotel we were immediately greeted by the front desk clerk and offered warm chocolate chip cookies after we were checked in. The selection of breakfast items available the next morning was more than we expected and the breakfast attendant was also very friendly. It's a shame we weren't able to spend more than one night here as we definitely felt welcome.
