After leaving a hotel that turned out to be more than sub-standard, we walked right into this hotel and were able to get the room we needed/wanted immediately. The clerk on duty (Sherry) was extremely pleasant and it was very apparent that it was of utmost importantance to her that we enjoy our stay. And we certainly did! The 2 bedroom suite was clean, comfortable and very homey. The fireplace in the livingroom was a nice surprise. The kids enjoyed the pool/hot tub as well. There is also a tennis court/basketball court and you can sign out equipment at the front desk. There is also a patio with furniture and a gas grill for anyone to use. The beds/linens were very comfortable. The fully equipped kitchen would be very useful for a long term stay. The housekeeping staff did a terrific job and left the room smelling delightful. As others have mentioned, there is a great breakfast and dinner is served on weekdays. There is a calendar on the fridge showing what is going on for the month. There are magnets to place outside your door to direct housekeeping of the following: No Service...Day sleeper....etc.
This was our first stay at this brand of property, but it won't be our last. Staybridge by Holiday Inn is similar but not as homey.
We highly recommend Residence Inn. My husband stays at hotels at least 25 nights a month on business and we take many trips each year with the kids......needless to say we have seen some incredible and unbelievable things at hotels in our travels. Residence Inn is definitely something to look forward to on our next trip. And what a great value at under $200!
There is a lot of great shopping near this hotel and a little north into Broomfield. Saltgrass Steak & Seafood is a fabulous restaurant 2 doors down from the hotel. We ate there 2 nights in a row it was sooooo good!
There is also a Residence Inn nearer to the airport as we saw on our way to fly back home.
Additional opinions: The science & nature museum is fabulous! (especially the planetarium)....the Denver Mint tour is very interesting as well as informative.....Cherry Creek shopping center has the best high-end shopping other than NYC.

I had to find a place to stay when my reservations at a nearby hotel expired and the hotel was booked for the extra night that I needed. I called The Residence Inn, and the reservation clerk was extremely helpful. Though the computer showed no rooms available, she knew there was one, so she did everything by hand to reserve the room for me. The room/kitchen area was spacious and inviting. I was in a wing that was pet-friendly, but I didn't hear any barking or meowing all night. The breakfast provided to all guests was larger and more diverse than any I've had at any other property. It's worth it just for the breakfast. The pool is indoors. Right off of the office is an honors-store where one can buy last minute supplies/food (or a midnight snack.) This would be an excellent place for families on a budget or for a businessperson away from home for an extended length of time.

This hotel was such a bargain and was also clean, quiet and staff couldn't have been friendlier. Total remodel/renovations completed late last year and the hotel was beautiful. We stayed in one of the 2 bedroom/ 2 bath suites with a full kitchen and living room. We were able to cook for our family but frankly really didn"t need to as the hotel provides full breakfast every day (with eggs, sausage, pancakes, fresh fruit, cereal, yogurts, etc), along with dinner during week. Mon-Thurs dinner was served from catered in Chick Fil A to grilled bratwurst, hamburgers and hotdogs with salad, fruit, and lemonade. Different days are different meals and there's a calendar in your room to let you know what will be served.
The hotel also has indoor pool, hot tub, fitness room and also a full outdoor court with adjustable net for tennis, badminton or volleyball. The front desk also stocks rackets and balls so no need to bring your own.
You will be able to walk over the freeway nearby and go to the local mall, restaurants and stores if you feel like it. There is also an Albertson's supermarket 2 blocks away along with lots of fast food places.
We enjoyed our stay so very much and felt the need to sing the praises of this wonderful hotel. If you want a view of the mountains ask for room on floors 3 or 4 facing mtn. range.
