“Beautiful and Superb Hospitality”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 29, 2013

We just recently stayed two nights at Tivoli and loved it. We would go back most definitely. The breakfast buffet was very good. The fresh water available in the lobby was so nice. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. I loved the decor of the room and lobby area. They could use new pillows in the rooms. We could not figure out how to get the air to run on the thermostat since we were warm, however, there was a fan located in the room to use. Everything else was great. Location was pretty good in relation to the village.

Just completed a four day stay at the Tivoli Lodge and it met our expections having done extensive research on Vail hotels. We were influenced by TripAdvisor reviews and were not disappointed. This hotel is for you if you like a convenient location, good service, friendly owner, great hotel mascot in Speedy the dog, chance to meet an Indy 500 winner who is one of the owners, nice view if you get a room on the slope side, a quiet and romantic setting and all the amenities of a first rate hotel. If you favor a lively bar scene and a big pool, it may not be your place.

My fiance and I took a weekend getaway to Vail and stayed at the Tivoli Lodge. I must say from the time we arrived to the minute we left the service was first class. The hotel is exceptionally well-maintained, clean and has the feel of a luxurious hotel. We stayed in a Tower room which for a small upgrade fee is highly recommended. The room was large, had a great view and had marble tops in the bathroom. The shower was tiled throughout and had a luxurious "rain" showerhead. I was pleasantly suprised to see the room equipped with a wet bar and fully stocked kitchenette. We had the breakfast in the lobby the following morning and our chef prepared omelets for us to our liking. We took a short walk to Vail village and hung out for the day. I couldn't recommend a better property for the value in Vail. Great place to stay!

Room Tip: The Tower rooms are worth the small upgrade price!

I have stayed in many places in Vail and very thankful I gave the Tivoli a try last weekend. My previous experience this summer was the 4 seasons which has a pool that is mostly unusable as the families just camp out there all day. The Tivoli is a great quiet location, awesome staff, comfortable rooms on par with the 4 seasons and just an overall romantic choice versus the big box, large hotels. If you are traveling as a couple this is definetly a place to stay. The Vail Village is nothing but a stroll and Lion's Head is just a walk. Bike room, FREE summer parking option in Vail!

The hotel, located within walking distance of the main area, is a well-kept and decorated place. The parking was quite expensive (I believe $25/night), but the village garage was a mere block away so we parked there for free (albeit summer time). The front desk staff was very professional and greeted us upon arrival. The concierge was eagerly awaiting to answer any questions and was able to give me information on the weekend events (to include the bike down Vail pass, which I highly recommend). Our room was pretty spacious, well cleaned, and ventilated prior to our arrival (I'm a stickler on smells, especially from previous guests). What we really enjoyed about Tivoli was it's location, you can literally drop your bags off and walk right into the village without all the craziness of the nightlife you have children or have an early morning planned. If you enjoy being close to the action without attempting to sleep through the action this is your place! You also cannot beat the price for the luxury received. The breakfast was tempting, but not the price. Also being so close to the village its a nice morning stroll for food. I recommend this place for couples or people looking for a relaxing getaway.

Room Tip: Mountain side is I would assume more quiet of the 2 sides, but the rotunda side (front) I feel was n...

Beautiful hotel! Pet friendly! Loved the happy hour drinks, infused waters out all day, breakfast was good and the staff was very helpful and friendly!! Close to Vail village and restaurants! Had a great time and will be back!

The room was immaculate and complete to the very last detail. Plush robes were provided for a trip to the hot tub (that I unfortunately did not have time to enjoy). The hotel has an 'old world charm' but it is a new hotel. The location could not be better--at the foot of Gold Peak Mt. just steps from Bridge St. With the excellent location and on-site parking there is little need to drive anywhere. If you ever want to explore Vail Village then this is the place you want to stay.
Scooter, the hotel's mascot chocolate lab and Jeepers, the owner's miniature collie were friendly and welcoming--as were all the staff. And the breakfast buffet was superlative and so plentiful I was not able to taste it all. This is a hotel that is top of my list to return to someday. I truly felt like royalty.

Room Tip: The mountain view is serene and beautiful. The hotel was full but my third floor room was very qui...
