“Tivoli at Vail”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 23, 2012

I love the feel of the Tivoli. The decor reminds me of a European lodge. The rooms are very nice and comfortable. I was there in the summer and chose to park for free in the garage that is a 2 block walk, or you can pay 15$ per day for valet. The hotel is right on the edge of Vail Village, so you can walk everywhere or rent a bike and explore further. They have air conditioning now, which is very nice!!

The hotel has a warm and friendly atmosphere. The owners dog walks around the lobby. The rooms are spacious and very clean. Excellent location in the village. I recommend the suite.........windows overlooking the mountains.

We stayed at the Tivoli twice in July in connection with the Bravo! Vail Valley Music Festival. We also stayed there in 2010 and 2011.
This is a first class, comfortable and up to date hotel. Staff members are fantastic - helpful, appropriately enthusiastic, totally reliable.
Location is great both for the Ford Amphitheater and the main spots in central Vail and Lionshead.
Rooms are spacious, comfortable, quiet, with large bathrooms, great beds, glassware, coffeemakers and small refrigerators. Some have microwaves.
Lobby area is substantial and comfortable. Wifi works very well.
One extremely minor item is that the hotel has but one elevator that runs rather slowly. In most instances, one can take the stairs. The only problem occurs during checkin and checkout.
Putting that aside, we strongly recommend the Tivoli and will be returning for future events.

Room Tip: All good - you pay a bit more for a mountain view.

The Tivoli was a gorgeous lodge with updated rooms and decor! The room bathrooms are awesome! The staff was professional and friendly and always went above and beyond. I do recommend the valet parking for an additional $25 especially if you are storing bikes/skis in your car. The bike path is literally right next the the lodge. It is a five minute walk to Vail Village pedestrian mall. Couldn't be in a better location. The street view was quiet or you can upgrade to a mountain view rooms. Not sure about that because there are some big trees blocking the actual view. The only thing we would have requested if possible is a small microwave in our room because we have a small child and we were constantly going down to have the front desk person or a kitchen person heat stuff up for us and there was sometimes a language barrier. They have a sink and mini fridge but no microwave. I suggested at least having one available upon request. The owners live at the hotel and have a friendly dog who hangs out as well! The breakfast spread is an additional fee but looked great! I think it was $10 which you can't beat in the village! Coffee and tea are free. We live in Colorado and this is gonna be our go-to place in Vail!

Room Tip: We had a street view room and it was perfectly quiet. The street is not a main street so it was not...

This hotel exceeded our expectations! We had an issue with our room upon checking in. We asked that the problem be fixed. The front desk did better than fixing the problem--they simply moved us to another room. The second room was outstanding: comfortable, very clean, and most important--quiet! I have never seen a hotel staff where everyone sincerely made you feel that your opinion mattered. They were quick to greet you every time you stepped off the elevator. The hotel had a lot of ambiance with an old-world feeling. It was walking-distance close to restaurants in Vail Village, but far enough away from the street performances so as not to disturb the quiet of the hotel. We strongly recommend this very fine hotel.

The suite is one of the best overall stays have ever had. The living room is huge with three different views on the mountains. Many little touches as a heated towel rack, two bathrooms ( one with sink and toilet) Good dinnerware and glasses and great room darkening drapes often overlooked in other places. two minute walk to vail village and also to shuttle bus. We used their parking worth it as car right there when needed. Only suggestion why not have dish detergent so dishes can be properly rinsed and washed to make housekeeping easier.

Wow! This was the BEST hotel experience we've ever had. We've stayed at the Ritz Carlton before and the service at the Tivoli was even better. The owners live at the hotel and act as ambassadors to Vail. Bob and Diane are the nicest people ever and after a week we felt like we were staying at a friends house. They're proud of their elegant hotel and they should be. My daughter loved playing with their dog, Speed, and Bob was so kind to make sure he brought the sweet dog over to play with her whenever we were in the lobby. I really can't use enough positive adjectives to describe our stay at the Tivoli. I will be back again and again and again.

LOCATION: Just steps away from the village, but you get a better view of the mountains here and you're away from the crowds inside the shopping squares. Perfect location.
ROOMS: I think the rooms must be soundproof because we didn't hear a thing the whole week we were there. The beds are comfy. The kitchenette was really helpful to keep leftovers and some snacks. HUGE rooms.
STAFF: So nice. So professional. So knowledgeable. Did I mention nice?
COST: The cost was very very exceptionally reasonable. Actually, for what you get, they could charge so much more and it would still be worth it.

If you go to Vail you HAVE to stay at the Tivoli Lodge. Anywhere else is just a hotel.

Room Tip: You gotta get a room facing the mountain because the view is spectacular!
