“Perfect location, great staff and beautiful hotel.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 4, 2012 via mobile

My husband and I recently stayed a Tivoli for the first time. We loved how close the hotel was to everything. The hotel staff was very professional and the rooms are very nice and comfortable! I would stay here again and definitely recommend it to others.

“Great summer retreat”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2012

I'd give this hotel 4 1/2 stars if I could. The hotel itself is on a quiet edge of the heart of Vail Village. Walking distance to great restaurants and shops. We had a mountain view room (worth the extra $ per night). Cool mountain breezes and a fantastic view to wake up to every morning. Breakfast buffet with omelet bar was wonderful. The interior of the hotel has the feel of an old lodge, but with modern decor. There were two weddings there the weekend we were there, but the place is well built, we didn't hear any noise, barely new anyone else was there. If there is a negative, it was that there was no swimming pool, just two hot tubs. The hot tubs are on a patio right off the front desk. I didn't mind walking through the lobby to and from the hot tubs, but some people might be a bit self-conscious. Also although we would have liked a pool, of course in Vail, this is probably only an issue 2 months out of the year. We were there in June, but I can't imagine this being a bad place for skiiers. The only other thing I can think of while writing this review is that I wish I was there right now. Don't hesitate, you won't regret it.

Room Tip: The mountain view room was well worth the extra few dollars a night. It included a nice little kitch...

“Lovely Lodge in Vail!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2012

We stayed at the Tivoli Lodge on June 29th, and loved it!
From the friendly staff (Tyler, Jordan and the front desk staff) to the owner who greets everyone personally, it seemed that everyone was there to insure our stay was enjoyable!
Our room was a mountain view premium room, and it was lovely and spacious. We walked everywhere, and the Gerald Amphitheater was a short 10 minute walk, where we enjoyed a lovely concert. Great location, lovely small hotel! We wished we could have stayed longer!

Room Tip: Rooms with a mountain view!

“Wonderful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 28, 2012

The Tivoli Lodge, was where we went 26 years ago for our honeymoon. Around 2004 they tore it down and rebuilt it into a beautiful homey lodge. Romantic where it counts and so comfortable with added features that enhanced our stay. There was water flavored with fresh fruit out all day, extra jets in the shower that hit you in just the right place on your back, a very comfortable soaking tub, are just a few of the amenities. The staff were the friendliest and actually helpful staff that I have had the priviledge to encounter in a long time. Great place. Will go again.

Room Tip: Mountain View rooms are spectacular

“Could be Great, Just OK”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 25, 2012

Our first trip to Vail, and Tivoli was VG. It is an Alpine style lodge.. Lots of dark wood. Rooms are nice and housekeeping is great.

What I found odd is that they have a bar that has limited hours (closes at 7:30) and staff who don't know how to make drinks. Also they have a "happy hour on Friday and Saturday", yet when we enquired they weren't sure if they were having it. And there were no "complimentary snacks" as was indicated in the room.Very odd, .and disappointing. How hard is it to figure out is you have happy hour?

Vail was also very hot and our AC didn't work. We reported it and they said it would be fixed, but didn't happen.Rooms are nice, location is great, housekeeping is VG,,,but don't expect much else.

This could be a 4-5 star hotel if they had better management. Training is clearly needed.

PS: They one elevator for the hotel, 5 floors, and housekeeping also uses it. So expect a lot of delays.

Room Tip: Get the south side rooms. Street side has a lot of noise from overserrved patrons, and trucks.
