“We love this place!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 25, 2014

We have stayed here just two times now and it is great! We love the location, the staff are so kind and helpful (thanks Jen!) and the accommodations are beautiful. You won't be disappointed - we can't wait to go back again in the fall.

Room Tip: We stayed in 406 and I think 204 before that...both are great two bedroom units.

We recently stayed at Lodge at Lionshead in Vail. We took a 3 bedroom appartment. It was excellent to say the least. Fully furnished bed rooms, living room. A nice dining area for 8. Enough sitting sofas and space. Patio. Fully equipped kitched. Washer dryer, dish washer you name it.

The staff was courteous and serviced our requests promptly. I would love to go back

We rented a 2 BR condo with a wrap around deck for 2 weeks. This is my third time to stay at the Lodge. It was exceptional (even better than the last time I was there). Everything about the Lodge is first class, starting with the superior accommodations (modern appointments and every thing you might need to feel like you are home) through the friendly and helpful staff. The location is amazing. You don't feel like you are in Vail as you are surrounded by huge trees and next to Gore Creek. Yet, you can walk anywhere for entertainment, food, hiking, cycling, etc. I cannot imagine a more perfect place to stay. I am going to make it a yearly destination!

My husband and I stayed here for a quick getaway in June. The condo was perfect. Clean, comfortable, spacious and very well priced. The front desk staff is exceptional! They understand 'hospitality' and treated us like VIP guests. Walking to Vail Village is easy and beautiful. There is also a bus that runs regularly. Efficient, clean workout room. In room washer/dryer. Great trails for running and cycling. Wonderful restaurants. Grocery stores a three minute drive away. Wonderful weekend! So glad we chose Lodge at Lionshead! We will be back!

Booked the lodge for a lacrosse tournament for my daughter to share with another mom and her daughter. Was a perfect fit! Very comfortable a great place for recharging for the next day. Staff was friendly and helpful, asked for late check out which turned into an extra night stay. Lucky for us this beautiful place was available. Convenient to village and bus line. The Lodge at Lionshead far exceeded my expectations, hope to return for next years tournament if not sooner!

Great front desk staff, helpful and friendly. Nice and centrally located to Lionshead and Vail Village. In town for surgery at Steadman Clinic and recovery was great with 2 bedrooms, full kitchen, barbeque, good bathrooms etc. Once I felt well enough was able to walk the short distance to Howard Head Physical Therapy for 5 days of hard work! Already booked for our followup visit with Doctor. Great value for all that you get. Beautiful grounds, hot tubs and pool and access to trail by river.

Room Tip: We enjoyed the space in Room 310, might be a little quieter on other side from Highway. But wasn'...

Lodge at Lionshead was phenomenal. Excellent location just west (.25 miles) of Vail Village & covered bridge, on free Vail bus route and sits on a river that creates the perfect atmosphere in the summer nights. The staff was excellent; one - they have a fool proof system for people who are slated to check in late to allow access to keys via lock box and two - as no one was checking into our room on our checkout day, allowed us to stay at the condo until 4:00pm. The accommodations are wonderful, two hot tubs and pool and the sweetest reception/front desk concierge I have ever come across. Our two bedroom condo (#380) was so spacious, especially in the kitchen and had a very large balcony which essentially was another room (so nice during our stay our whole group sat outside a good majority of the waking hours). Thank you thank you, I will certainly recommend and be back. Staff was excellent and the condo was even better!
