“Very comfortable”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 6, 2014 via mobile

We stayed at the Evergreen lodge for 3 nights during a ski trip. The bed and pillows were so comfortable, as was our room. The prices, in comparison, were quite reasonable and the location was perfect. We walked to the gondola every morning and to dinner every evening. We would stay at the Evergreen Lodge again.

This is an average hotel with average staff but the location and bar make it a decent place to stay.

The hotel has a nice lobby that is very inviting to hang out in especially after a long day of skiing. They have free wine and cheese on Thursday nights which makes up for the out of date hotel rooms and temperamental hot water issues.

The bar is affordable with a great vibe but the bar food is nothing to rave about.

We stayed here for two nights for a meeting which was down the street at a swankier, pricier locale. The staff at the Evergreen Lodge is excellent and so helpful. Our room was upgraded (no charge) to a Mountainview upon check in. It's an 8 minute walk to the Eaglebahn gondola. The lobby is lovely and welcoming. Rooms are spacious and clean, but dated. You can't beat the price! We ate in the cafe as well as the bar, and the prices are reasonable. Food was excellent and arrived quickly. Definitely worth the price!

Good hotel, easy walk or bus ride to the heart of town, very fun bar right in hotel that is more local than tourist. This is not a hoity toity place, and you won't see the rich and famous here, but if you're looking for a very reasonably priced hotel within a close walk to town, with a good vibe, and a great bar scene, then you'll like this hotel. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Great location, few minutes walking to Lionshead. Clean, great bar, very good staff. Best price for a few minutes to free bus or to slopes. Breakfast not included around $10 per person and kids eat free. I would recommend to try. Spent 5 nights later in December. Rooms need a renovation but not a big deal, just a new LED TV.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It is not super luxurious, but it is very comfortable and has everything you need. It is a good place to stay with a family. We stayed in a standard hotel room with two queen beds. It had a small fridge and lots of closet/storage space, which is important for skiing. The walk to the ski mountain is short (10 minutes at the most) or you can catch the bus which is a very short walk. Lobby is casual and comfortable with big couches and a nice fireplace. There is a sports bar and a restaurant in the lobby. We watched a football game in the bar one night and ate dinner in the restaurant another night. Both were good experiences and we liked the restaurant because there wasn't a long wait and it was quiet and relaxing. We had waited over an hour to eat in a loud, crowded Lionshead restaurant the night before. The indoor hot tub was nice and clean, we did not use the outdoor heated pool, but it looked nice. The biggest negative is the beds are not super comfortable, not awful, but this hotel could benefit from nicer mattresses. The positives are the location and the staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Stayed in a top floor condo facing the mountain rented through Itrip.net. Large 2 br with 2 bath and 2 queens in one room and one in the other. Living room has unobstructed view of the mountain and down valley. Nice sports bar in the lobby. Indoor hot tub and outdoor pool. Much less expensive than ski in/out yet very close to the mountain.
