“Excellent summer value at a truly great location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 17, 2012

We stayed a week and loved every minute. Our room looked out on the Safari and Simba ski runs and was just above Gore Creek. The sights and sounds were so incredibly peaceful and relaxing. Our studio condo rental was a little aged but just fine--everything we needed and plenty of space.
We definitely will be back. Great, friendly staff was much appreciated, having come from Santa Fe where that was not the case.

We all had a great time in a very special place. 518 was just
right for 8 adults plus our [almost] 4 grand daughter.
The unit is comfortable, cheery and spacious. Rob and his
gang did a great job to make us feel welcome.

Room Tip: 518 is very pleasant with a good view.

This facility is wonderful. The views cannot be beat and the staff is fantastic. We were so impressed with the front desk, housekeeping, and especially event staff.

My mom, MiL, SiL and I made the trip from KC to Vail for a planning sesh in June for an August wedding and we were received so warmly by Magda King. My MiL planned the rehearsal dinner with Magda and Katie Nelson in the banquet room on the first floor, and while I didn't have much to do with that side of the planning, :) MiL had nothing but wonderful things to say about those ladies and they were an absolute pleasure to work with from my perspective!

We were quite pleased with Chef Barry, who caters the events at the Antlers (among other chefly responsibilities he carries) and his food was quite fantastic.

The in town shuttle actually cycles every 12 minutes, but it is never a long wait. The closest stop is the Marriott.

Our friends absolutely loved the hotel and we will be back!

P.S. Did I mention it is PET FRIENDLY? :)

We have been going to The Antlers for 28 years. Last Sat. Was our youngest sons wedding at The Arabelle. Our welcome/ rehearsa dinner was at Antlers on Friday. Most of the 96 guests stayed at Antlers and the staff outdid themselves. Chef Barrry Robinsons prepared a delicious meal, tenderloin, crab cakes and salmon, plus much more. Magda and Katie (event planners and new friends) couldn't have done more to help. This destination wedding was relaxed, fun and a good value. This hotel/residence is also pet and kid friendly. We love The Antlers. Pat and jeff mourning, Ottawa ks.

Look no further!!! This is a fantastic property with the best location, great amenities, and a variety of rooms/beds to choose from. The top-notch service is all delivered in a way that makes you feel important to them as a guest. The Antlers is nestled at the very base of the Vail ski mountain with the Gore Creek running behind it; in the winter you can throw a snowball and hit the ski lift, and in the summer you can hop on the walking or biking path just outside your door. World class restaurants and shops, as well as one of the most newly renovated areas of the ski village are all right there to enjoy. It is amazing how you can relax quietly in your room enjoying a warm fire and the mountain views - yet then take a quick walk and find yourself in the heart of all the ski town excitement.
I've stayed here many times over many years, both with friends and family. The staff is consistently very helpful and friendly. It is so great to be able to enjoy the amenities you'd expect in a large luxury chain in a place with a warm, small town feel - the sort where you pass through the lobby and they greet you by name. There is no place I would rather stay when vacationing in Vail!

Room Tip: There really is not a bad room on the property, as the location is so wonderful. Different size room...

Love it here. rent a condo for a few days- more personal than hotel and great for families or a group of people. The front desk will drive you to the supermarket if you need to buy some groceries. We are here in summer so we enjoyed the summer activities of biking, hiking, swimming in the pretty pool. 2 hot tubs outside. My shower could become a steam room. The other bathroom had jets in the bathtub. Friendly and caring staff (and happy)! No restaurant in the facility, but only a two minute walk to local restaurants and shops in Lionshead Village. Also great bike paths leading into Vail Village and farther for nature trails.

Perfect for our family. Very short walk to lifts, all modern comforts and wonderful heating.

Room Tip: With children we find the ground floor best when carrying ski gear
