“Nice location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 17, 2014

Small but comfortable restaurant next to a flowing creek. Being off season here now we see many closed restaurants recommended going there which is a good sign. We had the trout which was a good size for lunch. Nice service too.

“One of my favorite spots in the village.”

Great food and service at the cosy spot on the creek. Romantic for dinner also. Reservation a must on weekends.

“Great starters, disappointing entrees”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 20, 2014

The menu looked wonderful and the appetizers were indeed interesting and delicious--the calamari, mussels, and arugula salad. Our entrees, all seafood like trout with crab, scallops, and salmon, didn't live up to the first course. If we go back to Vail, we would give it another try, given the strong, positive reviews given by others.

“Good food Great staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 11, 2014 via mobile

We wandered in late afternoon and we're made to feel very welcome Even though it was very early we wanted to choose from the dinner menu. This didn't present a problem and we chose Lamb chops for my wife and a New York strip for myself. Our server Eric was excellent as was the food. Highly recommended!

“good atmospher and better food.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 29, 2014

Our first course was very good but our entrée was a wow. We had the fish and if it is on the menu the elk which was done to perfection. all the accompaniments went well with the specific dish. A great hit and understandably so was the apple/blueberry cobbler. The service was excellent. The meal justified the price. If in Vail don't miss this restaurant.
