“Outstanding”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 days ago NEW

We stayed here for several days and were so impressed. The service was outstanding from everyone we encountered. We stayed in a two bedroom and it was beautiful. The pool was very nice and there are grills that can be used. There is also a nice lounge where they have live music at night. The location is quiet and a bit off the beaten path but there is a shuttle that can take you anywhere in the village. It is also a short walk into the village.

We stayed in the 3 bedroom unit for my family of 7. Our room was on the 5th floor facing Vail mountain. The view is absolutely beautiful! The room is well appointed, with flat TVs in the bedrooms and living room, full kitchen and all the utensils you will need. The room is very spacious. As expected at a Ritz, the staff is excellent, from the valet, front desk, and housekeeping. We asked for additional pots, replace a light bulb, coffee, and seasonings, and were promptly brought to our room. The location is great for exploring Vail and Lions Head Village. I highly recommend for a relaxing family vacation

Room Tip: Ask to face Vail Mountain, southern view.

Visiting Vail was beautiful, and only made better by the lovely amenities at the Ritz. This property is perfect for traveling with families.

From the moment we pulled into valet, Brian was at hand to take excellent care of us. I can't speak more highly of the service that Brian provided us. He was welcoming and friendly and quick to provide us with great information about local attractions and dining.

Kyle at the front desk was friendly and knowledgeable and quickly got us checked in and up to our room. Our room was clean and well appointed. The kitchen was well stocked with all of the necessary cooking utensils. The bathrooms were beautiful and spacious.

We did not have a chance to get into the pool but we did take walk and notice that it was spacious and clean. On the pool deck was a grill where guests can have an outdoor barbecue.

The gym was a highlight, with lots of workout equipment and free weights. There is also a personal trainer on property that leads workout classes throughout the week.

Overall it was a beautiful property with lots of amenities but the real standout was the consistently excellent service.

Our room was very nice and clean and roomy - the kitchen was very well stocked and we pretty much had everything we needed. The pool was a bit crowded with families. The gym was also very nice and had a lot of equipment.

We just needed a serene and relaxing time away from everyday winter's hustle and bustle, fast-paced schedules, family, and friends. Marriott-hotels had been a HIT or a MISS in recent years; so, we didn’t want to be disappointed. We were thinking of giving-up on Marriott-hotels. After finishing business in Denver, we had a few days; so, we decided to drive two-hours to check out The Ritz-Carlton Club & Residences located on Lionshead Circle, in Vail, CO. We saw a review and it said: "dream-like mountain oasis; adventures, lasting memories (in Rocky Mountains). We hadn't been to the Rocky Mountains; we were in need of something to help us forget Marriott's MISSES. Well, The Ritz-Carlton Club & Residences delivered; it was A HIT. Residence we stayed in was serene, relaxing; no one bothered us; massage was soothing; plenty of water to stay hydrated at Vail's high altitude; warm, toasty heated bathroom floors; comfortable beds were made-up by housing staff daily; feather-free pillows and white duvets were turned-down nightly; delicious recipes (available on granite counter) to use when dining inside; nice restaurants to frequent while dining outside; robes/slippers awaiting us; leisurely bike riding; and taking shuttle to & from Vail Village. Only area we missed visiting was bar & library areas; they were closed; and they didn't re-open until weekend. We had to leave early Friday. However, this wasn't a deal breaker. The RITZING happened because we can still remember first name of each person -- Justine, Theo, Luke, Anthony, Greg, Heather, Abby, Stephanie and Laura - who made our time unforgettable. Local vendors alike (in Vail Village) told us folks at The Ritz are so nice. The vendors were right. One person said, "if you can't be happy at The Ritz, then, you won't be happy" (something like that). Wherever we go now, we want and expect the same attentive and kind hospitality treatment we received from each of you. We thought your kind and attentive hospitality should be used as a MODEL at all Marriott properties. Is that too much to ask for? Thanks for the lasting memories. We Will Forever Be RITZ!

As expected with a Ritz property, the service is what set this stay apart. Rooms were huge... Had a "teen room" that I thought was OK, but the kids loved it. Quick walk to everything - - and that was important with no onsite restaurant. Two hot tubs with a great view of the mountain were also a highlight!

First time to Vail and WOW a great stay! The staff, the service were all 5 star. Our room was very nice and exceeded our expectations. The location was within walking distance of both Lionshead and Vail Village and both Gondolas. We chose to vacation in the summer since we are not skiers. The concierge (Laura Silverstein) made sure we had a full itinerary and all choices were perfect!!
