“Great for walking & biking”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 12, 2013

What a nice way to experience Vail. The path is well maintained and scenic. We walked it , but shared the path with many bicyclists. Don't miss it if you are in Vail.

“Worth the expense it taking a shuttle.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 12, 2013

We were staying in Breckenridge, and wanted to bike down the Vail pass. After looking at different bikes shops in town, it seemed like an overpriced tourist trap. Before we threw in the towel, I took a look at the prices in the next town over, Frisco. They were much more reasonable, and decided we could than bike around lake Dillon afterwards. It was worth every penny! They brought us up to the pass while pointing out places to take note on the way down. I admit, the trail at first was a little windy and steep for me, but the rest of my group was no where near as timid as I. It really is all down hill! No peddling at all! Riding along the river, looking up at all the wildflowers, the majestic Rockies, does it get better? Make sure to stop and see the one of a kind rock garden after Cannon Mountain! Worth the trip alone! Once we arrived in Frisco, we stopped and had lunch, than continued for more of a 'exercise ride', around a good part of Lake Dillon. Stopped at the lake to relax and continued enjoyment of the scenery. Make a day of this trip, it is not to be missed!

Went over 4th of July weekend, it was pretty busy but definitely friendly to casual bicyclists. Amazing amenity to the Village.

“High Creek!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 11, 2013

The path along Gore Creek was filled with the sound of the very full creek due to snow melt. It made for both a tranquil and exciting walk.
