“Wow! Great Sandwiches!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2014

Coming down from a long hike, this was just the place we needed. I had the Pearson - one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. I'd highly recommend this as a lunch spot in Vail!

“Big Bear rocks in Vail!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2014

We had an excellent lunch at Big Bear Bistro in Vail, on a gorgeous summer day. Four totally different sandwiches, and they were all delicious. My daughter's quote "this is the best sandwich I've ever had, and you need to learn how to make it." Thanks Big Bear, we'll be back!

“Small but good food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 17, 2014

Perfect place for a quick bite to eat. The food is good but there isn't much seating. That wasn't a problem for us since we wanted to eat at the nearby creek anyway. If you are looking for a quick bite but don't want the typical fast food this is the place to go.

“Great sandwiches, poor seating”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 15, 2014

The sandwiches are well-made and large. Two of us had the very tasty club sandwiches on toast, another had tomato and provelone on ciabatta bread, and another had the same filling served salad-style. Everything is about $10.

The only issue for us was available seating. It was far too hot to eat at one of the six or so indoor tables, and outside there are only two--one with an umbrella and one without. We baked in the sun as we ate--but at least our food didn't get cold!

“A good little sandwich shop”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 10, 2014

Have eaten here several times for lunch and enjoyed it. A great location next to the stream and on the main square. Reasonably priced with sandwiches at under $10 and $4 glasses of wine. Mango smoothie is excellent.
