“Vail / Beaver Creek has few Peers...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 22, 2012

I have skied all over the world - Canada, Norway, Germany, Austria, France etc. And the terrain, accommodations, and yes Blue Skies put Vail / Beaver Creek in a tier of ski resorts that has few peers. If you are looking for steep steeps, and large cliffs - not your place - go to France, Whistler, Jackson, or even Snowmass. However, if you want massive terrain, excellent apres, corduroy (Beaver Creek is awesome for bombers), and lots of choices for rooms and eats - you wont be disappointed. Vail is great for families, singles, you name it! However, being a father of 3 I find Beaver Creek the location of choice. Solo, or simply when the snow is deep, back bowls of Vail are where its at - ...

“fancy”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 16, 2012

We visited for an afternoon in the fall. We were there the week most stores closed for the off season. cannot give it a real review. I thought that vail village was more quaint and liked it better. Although had a great lunch there and enjoyed great conversation with a nice bartender.

“Beaver Creek Resort”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 30, 2012

we went on the shoulder season when it is very quiet but the foliage was spectacular. the staff at Beaver Creek was very nice and the room was well kept. we really enjoyed the hot tub and the shuttle service to the restaurants and to the spa in Beaver Creek. we also went on various excursions from there. It is a beautiful place. If you want peace and quiet and are prepared that some of the restaurants/shops are not open because of the time of year this is the place to go and visit

“Simply the best all-around skiing”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 7, 2012

For 50 years Vail has catered to both the expert and the beginning
skier, and all come away with a great ski experience. A beautiful vista atop Vail Mountain, huge variety of runs. Expensive, but season passes make it more affordable.
